Preseason XC Meeting

Hello,

The preseason XC meeting was yesterday and we had a good number of athletes show up. Very exciting! If you were not able to be there I would appreciate it if you would e-mail me (ptcuiser140.6@gmail.com) your name and cell so that I can start a comprehensive list of sign ups. Right now we have 30 athletes based upon just the meeting. Our goal is to have 55 athletes running XC by fall so recruit, recruit, recruit!

Team Camp Update

We will be running our first team camp from July 24th-26th, location and cost TBD depending on how many athletes sign up. I have set aside some money to help defer the costs of renting a place so my hope is that most of the cost would be for food and transportation. Also to run the camp we need parent volunteers to help supervise and provide food. Essentially athletes would plan the activities and be responsible for clean up, coaches would plan the runs and supervise the boys, parents would supervise the girls, organize food and cook. I will be e-mailing parents and athletes at the beginning of next week the link below to get head counts and see if we have enough volunteers to run the camp. The main focus of the camp will be to have fun and bond with the team. A proposed schedule is below, which certainly can be adjusted. This is just to give an idea of what the days would look like.
